I studied Drawing at Camberwell College of Art before pursuing my love of music. I spent a few years playing in bands and releasing my own music before training to be a teacher in 2012. That was the point it all changed for me. Suddenly my world expanded as I realised that in the context of education and society, creativity has the power to transform lives and challenge inequalities. I became passionate that the role of the arts and education is central to creating positive change but at the same time recognised the entrenched problems in schools and the art world. So, after teaching in schools for 6 years I left and set up Arts Education Exchange to explore what’s possible if we take a different approach.
What excites me about working for AEE is the never ending learning! The joy of working with young people and working in a team of creative people with shared values.
My interests include ART....EDUCATION and walking my dog :) Oh and hanging out with my partner and two kids.
